The Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre

The Roundhouse is a heritage landmark in Yaletown — a converted 19th-century railway roundhouse that now hosts a theatre, a large exhibition hall, and multipurpose rooms in the heart of downtown. It's one of Vancouver's most transit-accessible venues, steps from the Yaletown-Roundhouse SkyTrain station, and its community character gives events a distinctly human, unpretentious feel.

Best suited for: Workshops, town halls, trade shows, networking events, and conferences that want a central location without a corporate hotel vibe. The Exhibition Hall accommodates up to 400 standing and 200–275 seated.

KindCo's take: This is a great venue for organizations that want their events to reflect their values — accessible, inclusive, community-forward. We'd lean into that energy with programming that prioritizes participation over presentation.
